The people of our parish show a great pride in our Churches and parish and we hope to continue the excellent work of our predecessors and the various organisations and committees within the parish.
If you contribute to the life of the parish by attending Mass and other celebrations, give your time and talents as a volunteer in one of the many lay ministries and/or provide financial support. We are delighted that the Churches in the parish will be opening after Easter.
From Thursday 8 April both Churches will be open to parishioners for Mass at normal times.
All parishioners are asked to follow Covid guidelines with respect to social distancing and wearing masks to minimise the risks to everyone attending Mass.
The churches remain closed for the Easter period, but parishioners can join on web cam as follows:
Holy Thursday: Donaghmore at 7:30pm and Galbally at 7:30pm
Good Friday: Donaghmore at 7:30pm and Galbally at 7:30pm
Easter Vigil: Donaghmore at 7:30pm…
Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent are approaching, this will provide renewed opportunities for reflection and conversion, albeit under very challenging pastoral circumstances.
This year it is not possible to carry out the distribution of ashes in the usual manner with the ‘Stay at Home’ message and continuing public health restrictions on the gathering…
From midnight on 7th January until 6th February. all Masses will be virtual and available on webcam only.
The churches will be open at normal Mass times from Sunday 27th December onwards for parishioners to attend.
Masses will also be available via webcam.
